Practice Groups:

There are many centres throughout Australia that provide meditation instruction and groups. It is important to recognise that meditation can be seen using the metaphor of fruit, in that meditation represents a variety of different practices. Mindfulness could then be seen as a banana in that it represents a very distinct practice which while in the family of meditation it has some very important differences and therefore a very different taste to other forms of meditation.

Michael runs a regular meditation practice group in Torquay, Victoria which has been going since 1996.

Prior to participating in the regular practice group participants need to have participated in the "Course in Mindfulness" or have an established mindfulness practice. Refer to Workshops for more information on "A Course in Mindfulness" and Workshops Schedules for times and dates for details of the practice sessions.
